Friends

I don't even know where to begin! I feel incredibly blessed. I couldn't believe it when I saw how many of you took time out of your day (and you are all crazy busy) to write in and nominate me for the workshop. I was in tears when I read your entries and I just want you to know that you are the best girlfriends ever! Thank you. I seriously hope that I live up to the descriptions you gave. Whatever happens - I truly know that I have amazing support and I cannot thank you all enough! Now for the waiting! And by the way....seriously....THANK YOU!!!

Help please!

Okay so normally I would not ask for this kind of thing from all of my friends and the clients I have worked with, however this is huge!  I have been studying a lot lately and came upon this blog a couple of months ago, and it’s amazing.  This couple has a great story and they are a team that do mostly weddings and their work is insanely gorgeous.  I have some of their DVDs as well and it has totally changed the way I take pictures.  They are doing a workshop in Seattle, and I have read so much about these things.  They basically teach you everything they know.  It could really make a huge difference for my work! 

There is no way that I can afford the tuition for this workshop (it’s 1000.00 to attend…)  But every workshop they do a “running on empty” contest where people can go to the blog here and nominate someone they feel deserves to go for free!!!!!  I would just DIE … seriously. 

So this once I am asking a huge favor of you all.  If you have time, and you liked the photos I have taken for you, or you just like me :)  you can nominate me in the comment section of merakohblog.com.  The nominations close tomorrow so it would have to be soon, Thanks everyone so much for all of your support and love.  I truly am so blessed to have the best friends and family in the whole world!

This was some dangerous territory!  Talk about making you baby hungry….how sweet his he?  And not that you can tell from the title, but I LOVE his name.  Sorry, non private blog = a little ambiguity :) … you’ll just have to trust me on this!

Too much fun!

I cannot even tell you how much fun this was!  I’m pretty sure we laughed the entire time!  I miss these people :)

I am so blasted excited about these photos!  I can hardly stand it.  I have so much work to do this week but I had to post at least a few for Jo!   My Aunt and Uncle and their “monsters” were up last weekend and I had so much fun taking their photos!  I cannot believe how big the kids are getting.  And don’t worry – plenty more to come, but for now, here’s a peak at my gorgeous cousin!

They have been MORE than patient!  Good news people, New computer – up and running = a very happy photographer!  I love how these came out.  Hope you guys enjoy them.

 

Sorry! I couldn’t resist, it cracked me up how he would stop crying the second we gave him a leaf or a rock… like they were the most fascinating things on the planet!

These are not playing out as well online…I am still learning this whole “resizing for the web” thing.  Not to worry, the originals are fab!

And I really could not help myself with these last two… how do you know when a baby is DONE with a photo shoot?
